Billionaire filmmaker Tyler Perry was spotted visiting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14.7million Montecito home over the weekend.

The Hollywood titan, who offered several major helpers to the royal couple as they settled into their American lives, was spotted jumping from his $200,000 Lamborghini Urus and into his $125million private jet in Los Angeles.

He then flew for 20 minutes to Santa Barbara, where he and the Sussexes met for about two hours before returning to his jet, which then made its way to his empire in Atlanta, Georgia.

The luxury private jet is the same one Perry allowed Meghan and Harry to use for their so-called freedom flight in 2020, when they left their old lives in the UK to establish a new existence in California.

Perry, who reportedly changed into a suit to see Harry and Meghan, traveled with a bodyguard. The filmmaker is godfather to Lilibet Diana – and Meghan and Harry both stayed at his Los Angeles mansion for several months in 2020.

He was photographed in a casual outfit consisting of black On Cloud sneakers, a collared shirt, a black zip-up hoodie and black jeans. He appeared to be carrying a large water bottle filled with a dark liquid.

It was recently reported that Harry and Meghan have received invitations to King Charles’ coronation later this year, but have yet to say whether or not they will attend.

A Sussex spokesperson told The Times: “I can confirm that the Duke has recently received email correspondence from Her Majesty’s office regarding the coronation.”

“An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be released by us at this time.”

One of the couple’s concerns, according to royal experts, is “looking out of place” if they don’t attend King Charles’ coronation later this year.

Harry and Meghan are refusing to confirm whether or not they will attend the historic event in May, but royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said they “wouldn’t dare stay away”. ‘

He told MailOnline: ‘It was always clear that King Charles would invite Harry and Meghan to the coronation. As a symbol of national unity, he thinks it’s important.

“However, their response is uncertain and presents them with an acute dilemma. On the one hand, they want talks with the royals and accountability for what they think they went through when they were royals.

“They believe that, together with the press, the royal family sought to push them into exile. They want an apology. They won’t get it.

“The Sussexes have contracts with Netflix, Spotify and Random House. They only have it because they are members of the royal family. If they didn’t attend this momentous event, they will seem very disconnected. ‘

Fitzwilliams added: “Courtiers are also aware of their obsession with controlling the narrative and gaining publicity. They will be strictly controlled as they were during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Discussions with other members of the royal family will focus on the weather.

‘Then the dilemma is theirs. They are sure to fail if they are not appreciated by a large part of the British public. However, if they don’t, they risk coming across as irrelevant and US polls have shown a seismic drop in their support.

“Since they didn’t decide on constructive careers and the endless interviews, memoirs and threats of additional memoirs are recent proof of that, I suspect they didn’t dare to stay away. We will see.’

Prince Harry, who along with his wife Meghan have launched a series of extraordinary attacks on the royal family in recent months, confirmed he received an email from his father about the event.

The coronation, which is expected to be seen by millions in the UK and potentially billions around the world, will take place on May 6 – the same day as the fourth birthday of Archie, Harry’s son.

The news comes days after Charles evicted his son and daughter-in-law from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage, a move that would complicate any future UK visits by the California-based couple.

There has been much debate in recent months over whether King Charles would invite his youngest son to his coronation.

The relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family has become strained in recent years, with Harry and Meghan publicly criticizing the firm.

As well as hitting the institution, Harry revealed intimate and personal conversations involving himself and other members of this family in his memoir Spare, which was published earlier this year.

The post revealed explosive details about the rocky relationship between Harry and his older brother William, including the Duke recounting how they were involved in a physical altercation which left Harry visibly hurt.
