Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have already named their daughter Lilibet Diana, which the couple have yet to confirm.

The clue emerged from the Netflix docu-series, Harry & Meghan, which was released in December 2022, via Daily Express UK.

The Hollywood producer and close friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex suggested the christening may have already taken place.

Perry shared that the couple asked him to be “Lili’s godfather.” Upon hearing the request, the actor and producer noted his surprise and shared that he “had to take a minute to figure this out,” but added that he was “honoured” to be invited.

“I’m taking a minute to figure that out, and I thought I’d be honored. I would be absolutely honoured,” he continued.

“And I hung up the phone, I understood everything, then I called them back, I was like ‘Ah wait a second, does that mean we have to go over there and do all this in the church with them and figure it all out, because I don’t want to do that,” Perry detailed.

“Maybe we can do a little private ceremony here and have it that way and if you have to do it there that’s fine.”

Sources have previously claimed the Sussexes are “likely” to opt for a christening of their daughter in the US.

Previously addressing The sunroyal biographer and publisher of Majesty MagazineIngrid Seward suggested, “If that [the christening] happens in the UK obviously people will find out but if it happens [in California]I don’t know if there will be an official announcement.

“They will have their own vogue cameraman there, there will definitely be pictures but they may not post any.
