Things have already ended on bad terms for MAFS stars Lyndall Grace and Josh White less than a month after their after-show fling was revealed.
The couple, who met at a closing casting party before reuniting in Perth for a secret date, “no longer speak to each other”, sources have confirmed.
Josh, 40, reportedly ended things after finding out that Lyndall, 27, had a “secret boyfriend” she hadn’t told him about.
He learned of her other relationship after he left Sydney to spend Australia Day weekend with her at the end of January.
Their brief romance and subsequent breakup was described to Daily Mail Australia by a cast member as ‘messy AF’ from the start.
The pair apparently couldn’t have held hands when they first met at a post-finale party at The Ivy in Sydney in December.
Their behavior apparently left their fellow cast members “shocked.”
“Lyndall and Josh were all over each other in front of everyone, and it was really uncomfortable to watch,” said one MAFS attendee.
“They were so caught up in the moment that they didn’t even care who was watching.”
Their late night hobby got more serious when Josh decided to take it to the next level by flying to Perth to meet Lyndall for a secret date.
Josh, a Sydney-based advertising executive who was associated with sex-obsessed hairstylist Melissa Sheppard on MAFS, has planned a romantic weekend with accountant Lyndall from January 26-29.
The couple thought they had covered their tracks, but one of Lyndall’s close friends finally figured out what was going on.
This friend reached out to Josh and asked him why he had traveled across the country to be with her knowing she was “in a long term relationship” with another man.
This was news to Josh, who had no idea Lyndall was dating anyone else.
“Josh was heartbroken because he felt like Lyndall was single. She completely drove it,” a source said.
“He was on the first flight back to Sydney and not happy at all. They talked for hours every day before this vacation and she didn’t talk about it once.
The insider added that when the other MAFS cast members found out what happened in Perth, they were all “really, really angry”.
“It caused a lot of tension and drama within the band, and Lyndall and Josh are no longer on good terms. It’s a complete mess,” they said.
“Lyndall wanted to keep the whole thing a secret – which is funny because she told some of the actors about it at a party in Perth.”
Lyndall and Josh’s doomed romance was reportedly what prompted intruder bride Tayla Winter to call her the “biggest bully” in a rogue social media post.
“Lyndall you are the biggest bully I have ever met… The amount of hurt you have caused to many people is damaging and dangerous,” Tayla said in a since-deleted Instagram post Feb. 9.
“I hope people can tell their truth and that the real story will be heard as soon as possible,” she added.
“Be nice people and not just in front of a camera, behind closed doors.”
Daily Mail Australia was first to reveal that Josh and Lyndall hit it off and ‘couldn’t help but go through’ on a wild night out at Ivy Pool with several of their mates.
The pair kissed on December 17 – the day after the reunion was filmed – when several MAFS attendees went for a night out at the swanky Sydney venue.
“Things started when he told her he really loved her and wanted to kiss her, and she said, ‘Well, then carry on,'” the source said.
‘After [the kiss]they spent hours on the phone every night and really got to know each other that way.
Lyndall made no effort to hide their romance and spoke about it to a handful of co-stars while meeting MAFS in Perth on New Years Eve.
Josh and Lyndall kept their date secret with Channel Nine and production company Endemol Shine Australia.
‘A lot of [the MAFS] the crew were stunned that their affair got so serious so quickly,” said one bride, adding that the affair had “left a sour taste” in some people’s mouths.
Melissa, Josh’s on-screen ex-wife, was apparently “the last to hear about it, and she wasn’t happy,” the insider added.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Lyndall, Josh and Channel Nine for comment.
